ONE Gas interns are placed within departments and given the opportunity to experience the type of work they might encounter in a full-time position through projects, on-the-job assignments, job shadowing, mentorship and presentations.

FAQ

  • What is the campus recruiting timeline?
    Applications for our summer internship program open in August. We start recruiting interns beginning in September. Interviews follow the campus career fairs. Offers are typically extended to students by the end of October or early November. Depending on organizational needs, you may be able to see us on campus in the spring.
  • Where will my internship be located?
    Interns will spend their first week in Tulsa working together and learning about the business. Hiring decisions are based on company’s needs, your interests and where your talents will make the biggest impact. For Engineering and Field Operations internship positions, work assignments may be in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK; El Paso, TX; Kansas City metro area or Wichita, KS.
  • Do you offer paid internships at ONE Gas?
    Yes, all ONE Gas internships are paid positions. We offer a fair and competitive pay. If eligible, we also offer housing assistance for the summer.
  • What can I expect from an internship at ONE Gas?
    Interns receive challenging and exciting project assignments as well as opportunities to network with other interns and leadership. ONE Gas Interns are placed within departments and given the opportunity to experience the type of work they might encounter in a full-time position through projects, on-the-job assignments, job shadowing, mentorship, and presentations. ONE Gas Internships offer competitive environment that exposes students to project management and teamwork experiences.
  • Do you hire interns for full-time positions after graduation?
    Our summer interns are considered for our entry-level roles.
